Aberdeen railway station is Scotland's busiest railway station outside of Glasgow and Edinburgh. It is the main railway station serving the city of Aberdeen and is located in the city centre adjacent to Union Square.The station has a staffed ticket office although passengers should note that it is not open in the late evening. Passengers are able to collect tickets purchased in advance (for example, on the internet) from one of a number of automatic ticket machines located outside the ticket office and on the main concourse.For passengers with time on their hands retail outlets are located in the Union Square complex which can be accessed from the railway station concourse.
