Brussels is best known to tourists as the European Capital as it is home to the UN, however one shouldn’t forget that Brussels is also the capital of beer and one of the best capitals in Europe for museums, with the likes of the Museum of Natural Sciences, the Museum of Ancient Art, Museum of the Modern Art and many others.

the upper town ( can be pricey in some restaurants) for example 'Lxwells' where some of the most up-market

As the capital of beer, Brussels has a vast amount of cafes and bars to visit throughout the city, with a wide range of beers to offer, from the brunes to the blondes passing through the fruit beers.
If you were to want to go to the trendy bars then head towards Place St Gery and its surrounding street. The
city is full of places to see from the Music bars, the gay bars (all situated around the Grand Place) including the red light district and the night clubs!
