Chester Zoo is located at Upton-by-Chester in Cheshire, England. It was opened in 1931 and is one of the UK's largest zoos at 111 acres. It is the most visited wildlife attraction in Britain with more than 1.3 million visitors in 2007. Forbes described the zoo in 2007 as one of the best 15 zoos in the world, above Beijing Zoo and San Diego Zoo.
How to get to Chester Zoo by train
The zoo bus link leaves Chester Station from stop S5 (opposite the station) every 12 minutes.
