Food and Drink in Zurich

Wiener Schnitzel is Vienna’s traditional dish and can be found in all the restaurants. Most Viennese
food consists of heavy, meaty dishes. However you will be able to find European restaurants scattered
around. You will also be able to find food in most of the beerhalls where you will be able to taste a
wide range of beers. One of the areas to visit is Niederdorfstrasse.

Nightlife in Zurich

The most popular area to visit at night in Zurich would be the old town on Niederdorfstrasse or Oberdorstrasse which always pull crowds. The city has an amazing dynamic club scene which
covers all genres. The most well known club is U4 however there are plenty more around the city. If you visit in the summer one of the clubs to visit is Volksgarten Disco as its roof can be retracted to reveal the sky!

Bahnhofstrasse is every shopper’s dream land! With endless rows of shops from fashion, jewellery and
various other goods. For the designer labels shops you should head to Bahnhofstrasse to the Grieder.
You will off course find the traditional swiss leather goods shops and various handicraft shops all
around town.

As well as various museums, architectural monuments and buildings, Zurich is home to Europe’s leading Zoo: Zoo Dolder. Most of the sightseeing can be found between Hauptbahnhof and Lake Zurich.
