Holyhead London Euston stations

Holyhead Train Station

Holyhead railway station, operated by Arriva Trains Wales, serves the town of Holyhead on the Holy Island, Anglesey, wales. The station is the western terminus of the North Wales Coast Line which connects Crewe to Holyhead. The station has a staffed ticket office although passengers should note that it is not open in the late evening. Passengers are able to collect tickets purchased in advance (for example, on the internet) from one of the automatic ticket machines located in the station.

Facilities at the station include ATM's, pay phones, cafe, shops, toilets and baby changing facilities. The station has 3 platforms in operation. Platform 1 is separated from the other two by the ferry terminal buildings and inner harbour and is the one normally used by through services to London. Most other trains use platform 2. Platform 3 is only used occasionally.

Passengers are able to take a change to destinations including Wrexham General, Shrewsbury, Bangor, Llandudno Junction, Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Prestatyn, Flint, Chester, Cardiff Central, Milford Haven and London Euston. Services are operated by Arriva Trains Wales and Virgin Trains. Holyhead railway station is also an integral part of Holyhead Ferry Port, which offers several sailings daily to and from both Dublin and Dún Laoghaire.

Parking is not available at the station.

London Euston Train Station

Located in central London, London Euston railway station offers passengers services to destinations including Glasgow Central, Edinburgh Waverley, Birmingham New Street, Preston, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Manchester Piccadilly, Stockport, Liverpool Lime Street, Chester, Tring, Milton Keynes Central, Northampton and Watford Junction. Overnight sleeper services are also available to Aberdeen via Kilkcaldy and Dundee, Fort William via Dalmuir and Inverness via Stirling and Perth.

London Euston railway station is operated by Network Rail and is the southern terminus of the West Coast Main Line which connects London to the West Midlands, the North West, North Wales and the Central Belt of Scotland. The station is also the London terminus for London Midland services and for services on the Watford DC Line. Passenger services calling at the station are operated by First ScotRail, London Midland and Virgin Trains.

Facilities at the station include ATM's, bureau de change, First Class Lounge, pay phones, public wifi, cafes, shops, toilets, baby changing facilities and tourist information office. Parking is available at the station for 217 vehicles and is open 24 hours a day.

The station is connected to Euston tube station and is also near Euston Square tube station on the London Underground. It is a short walk from London King's Cross Station, the southern terminus of the East Coast Main Line, and St Pancras International Station for the Midland Main Line and Eurostar to France and Belgium. All of these stations are in Travelcard Zone 1.
