London Euston Coventry stations

London Euston Train Station

London Euston railway station, operated by Network Rail, is a central London railway station. The station is the southern terminus of the West Coast Main Line which connects London to the West Midlands, the North West, North Wales and the Central Belt of Scotland. The station is also the London terminus for London Midland services and for services on the Watford DC Line. The station has a staffed ticket office and passengers are also able to collect tickets purchased in advance (for example, on the internet) from one of the automatic ticket machines located in the station.

Facilities at the station include ATM's, bureau de change, First Class Lounge, pay phones, public wifi, cafes, shops, toilets, baby changing facilities and tourist information office.

Passenger services departing the station are operated by First ScotRail, London Midland and Virgin Trains. Destinations available include Glasgow Central, Edinburgh Waverley, Birmingham New Street, Preston, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Manchester Piccadilly, Stockport, Liverpool Lime Street, Chester, Tring, Milton Keynes Central, Northampton and Watford Junction. Overnight sleeper services are also available to Aberdeen via Kilkcaldy and Dundee, Fort William via Dalmuir and Inverness via Stirling and Perth.

Parking is available at the station for 217 vehicles and is open 24 hours a day.

Coventry Train Station

Located in the West Midlands region of England, Coventry railway station offers passengers services to destinations including London Euston, Northampton, Birmingham New Street, Manchester Piccadilly, Carlisle, Crewe, Preston, Nuneaton, Leamington Spa and Bournemouth.

The original station, built in 1838, as part of the London and Birmingham Railway could be entered from Warwick Road, where two flights of stairs took the passengers down to the platform. Within two years it had been replaced, with a new larger station, this time accessed via Eaton road. In the late 19th century the Coventry tram network extended to the station at Eaton Road. The original station remained in service as the station masters offices, until the station was redeveloped in the early 1960s.
